Harriet Tubman Portrait
Harriet Tubman Portrait

Original artwork. Portrait of Harriet Tubman, a leading American abolitionist and social activist. She was, herself, an escaped slave who famously helped rescue approximately 70 enslaved people via the Underground Railroad. She also founded the Home for the Aged and worked to support women’s rights. Tubman was an absolutely incredible woman with an astounding legacy who I recommend reading about. Part of The Inspiration Project.
Mixed media on watercolor paper.
